Yesterday was a BUSY day... puppoe had their first long road trip to OSU for BAER (Brainstem Auditory Evoked Response) hearing testing! I had to get up at 4:00 a.m. (well that's when the alarm went off), to make a 9:30 appointment. A throw-up in a crate and some pottying on the newspaper, but no poop on the trip! YES! There was some hollering going on for the first hour and a half! YES... and hour and half! poor babies did not want to "go" in their crate! but I could not stop. I had paper in there and a blanket and just kept telling them... go on the paper! LOL.
When we arrived I set up the x-pen and Sergeant pooped and everyone peed. I changed their bedding, picked up the poo. Loaded them all in a crate on wheels and inside we went. They were SO good! They were not scared at all. Friendly, tail waggin, curiosity about all the hub bub at the Vet School. One guy there had hunting dogs and he said those are some nice looking pups several times. He said either bird dogs or Dalmatians. :) I said they can be both, but generally want to keep their catch for themselves. LOL
I did get a few pictures of them waiting for their appointment. Dalmatians get quite a bit of attention as you can imagine. And yes I got the question, are those Dalmatians? They are BROWN! LOL. Well, you know we will miss it the day they become so recognizable that ALL have seen a Liver Dalmatian. It can be annoying how often we hear it now, but... you KNOW that you will miss it... admit it! :)
